Lia Hotel - San Carlos

Unique, unique, unique.

I loved the artsy vibe here! The decor is creative-who doesn't want a Buddha board in their room? The cozy evenings were made extra special with complimentary cheese and wine tasting in the lobby. The bed was the most comfortable I've ever sunk into!

The hotel room was good sized with 2 beds. The location was fantastic - just off close walking distance to the cute mid-town district in San Carlos and good restaurants, shops and markets. Also, it was 2 miles from Hiller Aviation Museum.

the hotel's location was nice close to the airport. moreover, it was right by the shopping district as well as coffee shops. the extra touches like coffee and cheese for breakfast, i loved it.

The air conditioner was fantastic and kept the room cool. Staff were friendly and helpful were great. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Perfect for a quick getaway!

great air conditioning , but some furniture needs updating

The air conditioning was excellent. I appreciated the clean linens and the complimentary breakfast had a good variety. The location was convenient for exploring nearby attractions and offered beautiful views.

The furniture in the room felt outdated and detracted from the overall quality.

We hiked the scenic trails nearby, taking in beautiful views of the bay and hills. We also visited a charming bookshop just a short walk away. The 24-hour coffee and complimentary breakfast were a nice touch, perfect for fueling our adventures.

One downside was that the place felt a bit scruffy with some old furniture around.

The included breakfast was much nicer than expected.

I could hear my neighbors quite well due to sound transmission.

I enjoyed asuper clean and cozy stay with friendly staff who made breakfast a pleasure, and I found the nearby Museum of San Carlos History just a short stroll away, making it perfect for my city strolls.

Awesome stay with great staff!

I spent 3 nights in a Standard King Room and it was awesome! The air con was a lifesaver. The staff were super friendly, especially Josh at check-in. My room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was cute with some healthy options like yogurt and fruit. Just wish the walls were thicker. You can hear a bit of traffic at night.

The air conditioning was fantastic. I loved the modern room decor and attention to details like lighting. Room felt spacious and well-kept. For solo travel, it was just what I needed.

I enjoyed the great air conditioning and the charming breakfast boxes made my mornings better, but the noise from the street was a bit annoying at times. I'd consider coming back.

I had a fantastic time during my stay, especially enjoying the nice air conditioning and the in-room tablet for entertainment. The hotel offers great relaxation spots, like a cozy lounge area and a peaceful garden to unwind. Only minor downside was some occasional train noise, but it didn’t take away from my overall positive experience. 😊
